Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, service customers, and help develop the team. Responsibilities include assisting with daily store activities, merchandise organization, opening/closing procedures, and maintaining store standards.

You will also help manage payroll, scheduling, and inventory processes while ensuring a safe, friendly shopping environment. Ideal candidates have strong communication and organizational skills, retail or grocery experience,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and ensure store standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
