Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure effective merchandise flow from delivery to floor.

The role includes opening/closing duties and supporting payroll, scheduling, and cash handling. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and a commitment to maintaining clean, safe stores.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drugstore environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store functions and activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise flow from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards; restock as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; loss prevention.
• Develop Store Associates and support a positive work environment.
