Job summary

Five Below is hiring for a Store Manager on Duty in a fast-paced retail environment. You will oversee daily store operations, train associates, and drive sales while maintaining excellent customer service.

This role requires strong leadership, cash handling, and the ability to adapt to busy conditions. We value high school education (college preferred), at least one year of management experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring a fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure they perform duties effectively.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations and staff management.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms for smooth operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and customer service.
