Job summary

Five Below is hiring for a store leadership role in a fast-paced retail environment. The Associate Manager on Duty will oversee daily operations, cash handling, and team supervision to ensure excellent customer service and sales growth.

Experience in retail management strongly preferred. The position involves merchandising, promotional updates, and training new associates while maintaining store standards and inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for fast placement on sales floor.
• Manages store displays, signage, and promotional resets following corporate guidelines.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, doors, and alarms for daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, supervising staff, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates to improve performance.
• Drives sales through merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
