Job summary

Five Below is seeking an hourly supervisor/manager to lead store operations in a fast-paced retail environment in Philadelphia. You will train crew, manage daily activities, handle opening/closing, and ensure superior customer service while driving sales and controlling expenses.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and remain composed under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Wowing the customer through personal contact with customers.
• Train the crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, responsible for store operations, staff, and customer service.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partner with store leadership for merchandising and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including garbage, cleaning, and stock room upkeep.
