Job summary

Five Below in New Jersey is seeking a Store Manager on Duty/Crew Leader to oversee daily operations, train associates, and deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will manage stock, assist with merchandising, and ensure excellent customer service across the store.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 1 year of management experience, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Competitive starting pay at $16.42 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check out experience.
• Oversee daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick stocking on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Manage opening/closing of the store, securing cash, locking doors, and setting alarms.
• Support onboarding and training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
