Five Below is seeking a store leader for our New Jersey location. This hourly role emphasizes delivering WOW customer service, supervising crew, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

You will oversee opening/closing, training, merchandising, and maintaining store standards while driving sales and controlling costs. The position requires flexibility for day, evening, and weekend shifts, with ongoing learning and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred for advancement.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all crew members wow customers with personal, friendly service at checkout.
• Oversee daily store activities and ensure staff perform duties effectively.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and organizing new stock for the floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed and handle store operations and issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors and set alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising and World Recovery initiatives.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock-room upkeep.
