Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• 1 year of experience as department manager, service manager, or equivalent experience
• Store manager/district manager or direct manager approval

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager & associates in delivering a favorable customer shopping experience and develop associate interest in customer service relations.
• Lead teams in planning, implementing and executing merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans/communications to associates on Associate Insight survey results.
• Identify store opportunities with department heads to create timely solutions and ensure plan execution.
• Model customer service excellence and address associate/customer concerns.
• Manage total store operations in the store manager's absence.
• Aim to meet or exceed weekly, period and annual sales and budget targets, including safety and shrink.
• Drive sales by maximizing department contributions and reducing shrink.
