Five Below is hiring a Store Manager on Duty who will lead daily store operations in a high-energy environment in Trenton, NJ. You will supervise crew, deliver a fast, friendly checkout, and coach associates to provide outstanding customer service while controlling costs.

This role requires prior management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail setting. You’ll partner with leadership to drive sales and uphold Five Below standards and guest

Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent.
College experience preferred.
Minimum 1 year of management experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Creative thinking.
Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

Wows customers by providing fast, friendly checkout and trains crew on service standards.
Oversee daily store activities and ensure excellent customer service.
Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep shelves organized.
Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff issues.
Open/close the store, secure cash, and maintain security procedures.
Support onboarding and ongoing training for associates.
Drive sales and manage expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and store recovery.
Perform routine store maintenance and housekeeping.
