Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to oversee daily operations, train crew, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will manage stock, assist with onboarding, and drive sales while maintaining store standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexible scheduling and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew members WOW the customer with personal contact and train on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure duties are performed and customer service is excellent.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff, and customer service.
• Manage opening/closing processes, securing cash, locking doors, and setting alarms for smooth operation.
• Support onboarding and training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance improvements.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance tasks such as cleaning and organizing stock room.
