Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Leader to oversee daily operations, drive sales, and maintain exceptional customer service in Towson, MD. You will manage crew, train teams, and coordinate opening/closing procedures while ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexible scheduling is expected, including some weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check out experience.
• Oversee daily activities of all store associates, ensuring performance and service quality.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for fast stocking.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, and urgent issues.
• Open/close the store, including cash handling, doors, alarms, and daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance tasks such as cleaning and stock room upkeep.
