Job summary

Turkey Hill is seeking an Assistant Manager to help the Store Manager deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role focuses on coaching team members, scheduling, training, and maintaining store standards across cleanliness, inventory, and food safety.

The position is full-time and requires flexibility to work second shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior retail or food leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1 year retail or food experience; must complete Assistant Manager Training program before assignment.
• ServSafe / Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manages the store team’s Guest Service behaviors and coaches staff to greet guests warmly and resolve issues.
• Support Store Manager in training, scheduling, coaching, and building a strong, values-driven team.
• Assist in achieving operational excellence, sales objectives, and in-stock levels.
• Ensure store appearance, cleanliness, and food service area standards; monitor stock in coolers/freezers.
• Oversee safety programs, merchandising, and other guidelines for successful food service operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or Person in Charge; accommodate reasonable needs.
