Job summary

UDF-MyScoop Branding is seeking an Assistant Manager to ensure outstanding service to every guest by following The Hi Five Guest Experience principles. You will supervise associates, manage store operations, and maintain excellent store conditions during your shift.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, ensuring proper cash handling and POS/gas operations, stocking, and maintaining a clean, safe environment while complying with laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or food service preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to follow safety, cash-handling, and store-operations procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage other associates, supervise duties, and train Shift Leaders and Guest Services staff.
• Oversee store administration: ordering, weekly reports, paperwork as directed by management.
• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience; greet guests warmly and ensure the store is ready at all times.
• Prepare DipSide items and maintain dip cabinets, scoops, and serving areas.
• Operate POS system and gas console; handle transactions and cash handling accurately.
• Stock shelves, display areas, and ensure products are rotated and within date ranges.
• Maintain store cleanliness, equipment, and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, laws, and safety standards.
