Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Operations Experience Manager (Ops XM) to join our store leadership team in coordinating customer service, department readiness, and efficient operational processes. You will guide the Order Fulfillment team, oversee inbound freight, and audit receiving procedures to ensure SOP adherence.

You will also drive shrink action plans, perform MOD duties, enforce safety standards, and coach associates on company policies.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Legally permitted to work in the United States.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
1 year of relevant work experience, including management of people and retail operations.
At least 1 year leadership experience, preferably big box retail.
Knowledge of the home improvement industry.

Responsibilities

Customer Service / Experience: Lead service on the sales floor and coach associates to deliver strong customer experiences.
People: Assist with recruitment, staffing, and training; monitor attendance and conduct performance coaching.
Safety: Enforce hazmat procedures, SOPs, and safety guidelines; ensure proper PPE usage and safe lifting practices.
Shared Manager on Duty: Open/close operations, conduct daily walkthroughs, align team tasks, and ensure store readiness.
