Job summary

The Home Depot in Austin, TX is seeking an Operations Experience Manager (Ops XM) to lead the Order Fulfillment team, ensure SOP adherence, and drive safety and service standards on the sales floor. This role partners with store leadership to audit inbound freight, manage shrink action plans, and support MOD duties with policy compliance.

You will coach associates on safety, customer service, and policy execution, while driving talent development and performance management in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• 1 year of relevant work experience including management of people and retail operations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: merchandising and/or operational experience; leadership in big-box retail.

Responsibilities

• Lead D93 Receiving and D94 Order Fulfillment workflows to meet SLAs.
• Coach and train associates on policies, safety, and customer service.
• Champion safety by enforcing hazmat procedures and PPE usage.
• Perform opening/closing MOD duties and ensure store readiness.
