Job summary

The Home Depot in El Cajon, CA is seeking an Operations Experience Manager (Ops XM) to join the store leadership team. You will drive customer service excellence, lead the Order Fulfillment team, and ensure SOP-adherent inbound freight and receiving processes, while implementing shrink action plans.

As MOD when required, you will coordinate safety, training, and performance coaching, helping the store meet SLAs and maintain a safe, well-organized sales floor.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• 1 year of relevant work experience, including management of people and retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service / Experience: Lead by example, coach on the sales floor, ensure orders are received, picked, and staged within SLAs, audit delivery orders for quality.
• People: assist with recruitment, manage staffing and attendance, ensure training is current, and conduct performance coaching and reviews.
• Safety: enforce hazmat procedures, safety checklists, PPE usage, and safe lifting techniques; intervene to correct unsafe behavior.
• Opening & Closing Operations: perform MOD duties, lead team meetings, verify safety inspections, and coordinate daily priorities to ensure store readiness.
