Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking an Operations Service Manager in Alabama to lead store teams and drive strong customer service and operational results. You will model core values, develop teams, and oversee cashiers, customer service, and receiving staff in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

You will partner with district and regional leadership to optimize scheduling, inventory accuracy, and process compliance while supporting staffing and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience in a large retail setting.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using scheduling and reporting software.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, ensuring policy compliance and asset protection.
• Guide Customer Service Supervisors to maintain smooth customer flow at registers.
• Oversee execution of operations and receiving SOPs.
• Lead the receiving process, manage transfers, debits, damages and chargebacks with Receiving Supervisor.
• Act as Manager on Duty and drive store results through leadership by example.
• Support Store Manager in staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training and succession planning.
• Assist in managing other store operations areas as needed.
• Communicate effectively with District and Regional Management teams.
