Job summary

CarMax is hiring for a Business Operations Associate to support store operations in Denver. You will deliver exceptional customer service, guide customers through paperwork, and ensure accurate processing of sales, auctions, and appraisals.

You will handle cash management, audit critical documents, and mentor new associates while maintaining strict accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced team setting. This role requires flexibility for varying shifts and a commitment to CarMax policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and record data accurately for compliance and reporting.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication for customers and teams.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them through paperwork processes with outstanding service.
• Process and audit paperwork for retail and wholesale sales, including contracts and DMV documents.
• Manage auction and appraisal transactions with accurate titles, payoffs, and funding docs.
• Handle cash management tasks: accepting payments, deposits, and security procedures.
• Train and mentor new associates and support store operations across departments.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and reconciling missing information.
• Follow CarMax EH&S requirements and maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
