Job summary

Five Below is seeking an hourly Store Manager in Stoughton, MA. You will oversee daily store operations, train crew, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

Responsibilities include supervising associates, organizing stock, opening/closing the store, and coordinating with leadership to boost sales and control expenses. Requirements: 1 year of management experience and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow customers through personal contact.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service; ensures fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures strong customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep shelves ready.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, responsible for store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Opens/closes the store, secures cash, locks doors, sets alarms, and maintains daily prep.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by improving merchandising and service.
• Works with store leadership on merchandising and recovery procedures.
• Performs maintenance: trash, sweeping, bathrooms, stock room upkeep.
