Job summary

Five Below is seeking an experienced store leader to ensure memorable customer service and smooth daily operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will train associates, oversee daily tasks, and act as Manager on Duty when needed.

The role involves managing stock, merchandising, and open/close procedures, with a focus on WOWing customers and driving sales. Flexible scheduling is required, including day/evening/weekends.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent is required.
• College experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience and ensures fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure high service standards.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for fast placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff management and urgent issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, and set alarms for smooth operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance tasks and keep the stock room tidy.
