Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty who will lead daily operations, supervise associates, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will help onboard staff, drive sales, and manage merchandising while maintaining store standards.

This hourly role requires a minimum of 1 year in management, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and overnight shifts may be required, with responsibilities across the sales floor and stockroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wowing customers through personal contact and training crew on service.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure quality service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to floor quickly.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations and staff issues.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and manage merchandising, staffing, and customer service.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and store recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stockroom upkeep.
