Job summary

Five Below is hiring in West Virginia for a role overseeing daily store operations and leading associates to deliver a WOW customer experience. You’ll train crew, manage opening/closing tasks, cash handling, and respond to urgent issues to keep the store running smoothly.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1+ year of management experience, and strong communication skills. A flexible schedule including weekends is needed; travel is not required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Wow customers through personal contact and ensure fast, friendly checkout.
• Trains crew on BEST customer service experience and supervises store operations.
• Oversees daily activities of all store associates and ensures excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking and organizing new stock for quick shelf placement.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing of the store, cash handling, alarms, and daily operations.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery.
• Performs store maintenance including cleaning and stock room organization.
