Job summary

Five Below is seeking a seasoned store leader to oversee daily operations, merchandising, and guest service in our West Virginia location. You will manage stock, displays, opening/closing tasks, and act as Manager on Duty to ensure smooth store performance.

We value high energy, clear communication, and a hands-on approach to coaching associates, driving sales, controlling expenses, and executing corporate plans with integrity. Prior management experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are highlighted per guidelines.
• Manages opening/closing the store, including cash handling, locking doors, setting alarms, and daily readiness.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service.
• Helps oversee daily activities of all store associates and ensures excellent customer service.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and service.
• Executes the market plan with signage per corporate guidelines and maintains Inventory Integrity.
