Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store leadership role focused on delivering WOW customer service and overseeing daily operations. The role includes training crew, managing opening/closing duties, and maintaining stock readiness on the sales floor.

The position emphasizes developing associates, driving sales, and partnering with leadership on merchandising while keeping the store welcoming and efficient for guests.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and remain composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers and trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates to ensure they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing procedures, cash security, doors, alarms, and daily readiness of the store.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance including cleaning, sweeping, and stock room upkeep.
