Job summary

Five Below in Lafayette, IN is seeking an energetic store leader to oversee daily operations and drive a WOW customer experience. You will train associates, manage opening/closing, and help optimize merchandising while controlling costs.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexible scheduling including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew members wow the customer with personal contact and fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure effective performance and service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations and staff management.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and prepare for daily operation.
• Support onboarding and training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and World Recovery processes.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
