Job summary

Five Below is seeking an energetic store leadership candidate to manage daily operations and deliver a WOW customer experience. You will train crew on the BEST service approach, supervise associates, and ensure efficient opening and closing procedures while maintaining stock and visuals.

The role emphasizes coaching, merchandising, and expense control to boost sales. Applicants should have management experience and strong communication skills, with flexibility for day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and ensures fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily store activity and ensures staff perform duties effectively and deliver excellent service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking and stocking to keep shelves ready for sale.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations, staff and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing procedures, cash security, alarms and daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and customer service.
