Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty in Vincennes, IN to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will train associates, manage opening/closing procedures, and drive sales through effective merchandising and team leadership.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. A flexible schedule, including weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wowing customers through personal contact and ensuring a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff management.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms for smooth daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and service improvements.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery initiatives.
• Perform routine store maintenance and upkeep of stock room and facilities.
