Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, customer service, and team development at our Greensboro store. You will help with merchandise flow, promotions, and loss prevention while ensuring a clean, organized sales floor.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and a focus on safety and policy adherence. Previous retail experience is preferred, with growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and protect company assets.
• Support the Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
