Job summary

Family Dollar in North Carolina seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, elevate customer service, and develop the team. You will help organize merchandise, execute openings/closings, and ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming store atmosphere.

The role requires effective communication, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and previous retail leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.

• Assist in merchandise organization and stock transfer between areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and maintain store displays and safety standards.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and deposits; support loss prevention.
• Train and develop store associates; maintain a clean, safe store environment.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures.
