Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Greensboro location. You will assist with daily functions, supervise associates, and help maintain store standards and safety.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to manage merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a positive manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain store documentation
• Maintain store displays and promotional fixtures.
