Job summary

Five Below in Florida is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to oversee daily operations, open/close the store, supervise crew, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

You will train associates, manage stock, drive sales, control expenses, and partner with leadership to maintain merchandising standards. Must be 18+, high school or equivalent, with at least 1 year of management and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew wow customers with personal contact.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates for service excellence.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed for operations and staff.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, and sets alarms.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising and operations.
• Performs routine store maintenance and housekeeping.
