Job summary

Five Below in Florida is seeking an experienced Store Manager on Duty to lead daily operations and supervise associates, ensuring guests have a fast, friendly checkout experience and world-class service. You will help open/close, manage cash, train staff, and drive sales while upholding store standards.

You will collaborate with the leadership team on merchandising, employee development, and operational procedures to maintain a high-energy, profitable discount retailer environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wowing the Customer through personal contact and training of crew for fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty and take responsibility for store operations and staff management.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and ensure daily operation readiness.
• Support onboarding and training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive sales and control expenses by merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
