Job summary

Five Below is seeking an engaged store crew leader to ensure top-notch customer service and smooth daily operations. You will train team members, manage daily activities, and assist with stock handling to keep shelves ready for customers.

A Manager on Duty will oversee operations and staff as needed. Qualified candidates have at least a high school diploma, 1 year of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask and think creatively.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring a fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure effective performance.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for fast placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty with responsibility for store operations and staff management.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and ensure daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and customer service.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery.
