Job summary

Five Below in Concord, NH is seeking an enthusiastic hourly Crew Leader to guide a team and deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will train staff, oversee daily activities, and ensure excellent customer service on the sales floor.

The role involves opening/closing the store, onboarding new associates, and driving sales while controlling expenses. Strong communication, multi-tasking, and a flexible schedule including weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.
• Flexibility to work day, evening, weekends and possibly overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and delivers fast, friendly check out experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure high-quality customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep shelves well-organized.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations and staff issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, and set alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and store recovery tasks.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room organization.
