Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Aurora, MO. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and help supervise and train Store Associates while ensuring a safe, friendly shopping environment.

The role includes opening/closing duties, adherence to company policies, and help with inventory, scheduling, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
Experience managing store operations and leading a team is preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
Organize merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom and floor, maintain seasonal areas.
Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
Follow directives and complete communications related to store activities.
Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention.
Keep store areas well-stocked and organized; protect assets including cash.
Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff follow procedures.
Train and develop Store Associates; supervise as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
