Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, support opening and closing procedures, and help train Store Associates to deliver friendly, efficient service.

In this role you will ensure merchandise is organized, assist in scheduling and payroll records, and maintain store areas to company standards while upholding safety policies and constructive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize merchandise and transfer from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; support loss prevention.
• Train and develop Store Associates; supervise in partnership with Store Manager.
