Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Aurora, MO location.

You will assist with daily activities, supervise store associates, manage merchandising, and ensure a positive, safe, and efficient shopping environment. You will open/close, help with scheduling and payroll, process deposits, and uphold company policies while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in retail, grocery, or drug store management preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking/standing.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas, including safe, clean, and stocked conditions.
