Job summary

CubeSmart is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage stores within the district, focusing on customer service and preventative maintenance. You will grow relationships, handle leasing, process payments with our POS system, and drive daily operations across locations.

The role emphasizes teamwork and independent work, with attention to safety, cleanliness, and meeting monthly sales targets. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.

• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS system, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Daily walks of the property to clean units and store grounds.
• Maintaining and cleaning facilities to meet company guidelines.
