Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to help manage stores within your district. You will combine customer service excellence with hands-on property maintenance to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming facility for all customers.

Daily responsibilities include building relationships, meeting monthly sales goals, coordinating leasing and payments through our POS system, and performing routine upkeep. The role emphasizes teamwork and dependable daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer base.
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
• While performing duties, you will be required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments via POS, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Physical tasks include daily walks, cleaning units and store grounds, opening/closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
• Maintaining a clean, safe storage facility meeting company guidelines.
