Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to support two key areas: Customer Service and Property Maintenance. You will engage with customers to identify storage needs, demonstrate units, and close rentals while handling payments and daily tasks across your district.

Responsibilities include maintaining a neat facility, performing safety checks, and assisting in inventory and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, valid driver’s license and up-to-date insurance.
• Frequent standing, sitting, kneeling, bending and climbing as part of daily tasks.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and delivering solutions while ensuring a standout customer experience.
• Interact face to face with customers, provide excellent service and build rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Rent units, sell store merchandise, manage leasing, process payments using POS, make daily deposits, and call customers about late payments.
• Maintain clean and safe storage facility and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
