Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage and maintain stores within your district. You will develop relationships with customers, identify storage needs, and deliver a standout experience while handling leasing, payments, and on-site tasks.

The role includes daily maintenance tasks, safety, and teamwork with a focus on reliable service, meeting sales goals, and contributing to a well-run, customer-first facility.

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse market.
• Self-driven with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Must have a personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS system, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls regarding late payments.
