Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to help run daily self-storage stores. You will develop customer relationships, process leasing, handle payments with the POS, and support maintenance tasks to keep the property clean and safe.

This role emphasizes a friendly, proactive approach, weekend availability, and the ability to work independently or with a team. You’ll join a network across the U.S. with opportunities to grow within CubeSmart.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Some locations may require Sunday hours.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS system, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Physical tasks include daily walks of the property, cleaning units and store grounds, opening/closing doors, and light maintenance.
