Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage stores in your district, delivering strong customer service and maintaining the property to high standards.

The role includes building relationships with customers, meeting monthly sales goals, and performing daily tasks such as tours, payments, and basic maintenance to keep the site clean and safe. This is an entry-to-mid level position with opportunities to grow across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Physical tasks include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the store grounds, opening and closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
• Keeping a clean and safe storage facility to ensure conditions meet company guidelines.
