Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage stores within the district. You’ll develop customer relationships, rent units, and handle payments while maintaining the facility and ensuring a safe, clean environment.

You’ll work mainly daytime hours with possible Sundays off, enjoy paid time off, a 401(k) match, and health benefits. This role requires reliable transportation and the ability to work Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service to diverse customers.
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, bend or balance and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing solutions with a standout experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, delivering excellent service and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and managing the leasing process and payments.
• Walking the property and performing daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units.
• Renting units, selling store merchandise, and handling daily deposits and courtesy calls for late payments.
• Maintaining a neat, clean facility and safe storage environment.
