Job summary

CarMax is hiring a Business Operations Associate at our Jacksonville, FL location. You will support store operations by processing sales, auctions, and appraisals, while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring accurate paperwork.

Responsibilities include handling cash, auditing contracts, and guiding customers through the financing and DMV processes. You will also train teammates and maintain organized records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist customers and staff.
• Accurate data entry and recordkeeping for sales, auctions, and appraisals.
• Ability to read, interpret, and record data for compliance and reporting.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them through paperwork processes.
• Audit and process paperwork for retail and wholesale sales, including contracts and DMV docs.
• Manage auction and appraisal transactions with accurate titles and payoffs.
• Handle cash management tasks including deposits and security procedures.
• Train and mentor new associates and support multiple departments.
• Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and reconciliation of missing information.
