CarMax Fairfield is hiring a Business Operations Associate to be the backbone of store operations, ensuring smooth processing of sales, auctions, and appraisals. You’ll handle cash, audit critical paperwork, and communicate clearly with customers and teams in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires strong organizational skills, data accuracy, and flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and record data accurately.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication with customers and teams.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to CarMax policies.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and guide customers through paperwork.
• Process and audit sales, deals, finance contracts, and DMV docs.
• Manage auction and appraisal transactions, ensuring proper titles and funding docs.
• Handle cash management tasks and deposits.
• Train and mentor new associates and balance overflow traffic.
• Perform clerical duties and data entry with high accuracy.
• Follow EH&S requirements and keep a clean work area.
