Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage retail and maintenance duties across stores in your district. You will provide excellent customer service, handle leasing, payments, and unit showings, and contribute to a safe, clean facility.

You will work daytime hours with potential Sunday shifts, earn $18.00–$20.00 hourly based on experience, and participate in a 401(k) plan with benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS system, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
