Job summary

Five Below is hiring for a store management role in Shirley, NY. You will oversee receiving, stock organization, and displays, while ensuring promotions and signage follow corporate guidelines.

You’ll also manage opening/closing procedures, cash control, and security to support a smooth daily operation. You will lead store Associates, support onboarding and training, drive sales, manage expenses, and execute market plans.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• College experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock for quick shelf placement.
• Manages setup and maintenance of displays, ensuring accurate signage and promotions.
• Opens/closes the store, secures cash, locks doors, and sets alarms for daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, supervising operations, staff, and customer service.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and provides training on policy and product knowledge.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Executes the market plan with proper product placement and regular signage updates.
