Job summary

Five Below is hiring for a hands-on store leadership role in a fast-paced retail environment. You will oversee stock handling, displays, and daily opening/closing procedures while ensuring exceptional customer service and team performance.

You will train associates, drive sales, and execute corporate merchandising plans. This hourly position requires flexibility across day/evening/weekends and may involve travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Manages setup and maintenance of displays, signage accuracy, and promotions per corporate guidelines.
• Handles opening/closing the store, cash security, doors, alarms, and daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, overseeing store operations, staff, and customer service.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and service; executes market plan with signage per guidelines.
• Ensures Inventory Integrity process is followed.
