Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable manager-level team member to help run daily store operations. You will oversee stock receiving, create and maintain engaging displays, and supervise associates while delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll lead opening/closing duties, ensure security, and implement promotions per corporate guidelines. Strong communication and multitasking are essential for success in this fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are highlighted per corporate guidelines.
• Manages opening/closing procedures, including cash handling, locking doors, and setting alarms for daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Oversees daily activities of associates, ensuring performance and service standards.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service improvements.
• Executes the market plan with proper product placement and updated promotional signage.
